Dentree comes to us riding some big names in the cocktail biz. It's actually "Dentree presented by Remy Cointreau and Hope & Sesame". So. Yeah. Fancy, fancy. Hope & Sesame won international acclaim as Guangzhou's first speakeasy, opening back in 2016, and has for the past number of years popped up on Asia's Top 50 Bars list. For Dentree in Shanghai, they’re doing the drinks for the space that is run by the MUSE Group (The Nest), so expect a classier, pricier cocktail bar experience. Drinks are of the molecular variety with tons of house infusions, homemade recipes, and arcane recipes. A sustainability themes runs throughout, for this space looking to be the future of environmentally friendly drinking. Don’t miss out on “The Odd Bits” section of the menu, a selection of side plates that make use of offal and sweetmeats. Very much ritzier than it sounds.
